Job description
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech with a strong orthopedic background to scrub under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. As a member of our surgical team, you will prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, equipment and rooms for surgical procedures, recognize safety hazards and initiate appropriate corrective and/or preventive measures, and perform other related duties as a key member of the team, supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an appropriate technician program or previous technician experience of at least two years.
- Licensure/certification/registration: Current surgical tech certification preferred. BLS required.
Experience:
Prefer 2 years full-time experience, will consider 1 year experience with strong orthopedic background.
